2. From the menu bar, choose Go > Go to Folder
3. Type in or copy/paste the following: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Preview/Data/Library/Preferences
Mac os x leopard 10 5 update. 4. Find com.apple.Preview.plist and drag and drop it to your desktop

5. Restart your Mac
6. Test opening a PDF in Preview
7. If successful, drag the com.apple.Preview.plist from your desktop to the trash and empty the trash
